    i had it in one of my carhaulers for 1 year ... never had a problem ... truck had 1.3 million at that time , i was afraid of these trannies , but it worked good for me , would not hesitate to get another one . look at volvo with freedom line tranny , heard good feedback on that ... never had experience though

    I have a kw with ultrashift runs and shifts really good I've had it for a little over 6 months no problems at all truck has 800k

    Not bad transmission. Prefer it over allison, volvo, and detroit.

    I use to not like them at all. They are getting better every year. Now they shift so smooth. I took one out to California from Indiana. Thought I was gonna have some issues through the mountains but it made life easier. The transmission made shifts faster than I could and got the engine back into the power quicker than I could. Learned to like them after that. We did just blow one up at work this week. Haven't got to look at it yet. First failure of its kind that I have seen at work in the last 7 years.

    fedex has their t680 and t660 with ultrashift and cummins.
