I was lucky, got an $85 "disobeying a posted sign" ticket... and could have gotten smacked hard - we weighed 78,700.

I have a major issue with this bridge, and another that is in the area with the same fines.
The issue is in HOW they marked the bridge.
I do local pickups and delivery's in this area at times.
The signs do not tell you where the bridge is. As in past exit whatever, or mile marker whatever.
Only the name of the bridge and to go around town on 295.
Well, if you are delivering in the city you need to know exactly where the bridge is, so you can get to your shipper/ receiver.
They do not, and will not, tell you this info on any of the signs.
Also the Pawtucket is a grade level bridge. So if you are not paying enough attention you can go over it while looking for your exit.

I believe the signs are lacking in information on purpose. Just so that trucks will go over the bridge that are in the area for local delivery's.

    scottied67 Thanks this.
