I believe you, but on these applications i did include my 1099's. Apparently only being with DoorDash for 7 months isn't considered employment, and neither is unemployment compensation, nor a notarized letter from family stating my activities for this year. What they see, is 7/36 months worked, and i'm not able to be qualified.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

Try this site: DWD - INTraining
If it doesn't open with the information already there, type CDL in the search bar for "Program Name"
This should give you a list of training providers in Indiana who are able to accept funding though the WIOA
Try to find a program that will accept you and that funding. You may have to call a few places. If you can't find a school that will accept you because of your work history, try finding a company that will give you a prehire letter. I'm guessing these schools are just nervous about taking you because they're not sure you'll get hired after graduating, which would affect their job placement stats. If you find a company that will give you a prehire letter, you can show that to the school.Another Canadian driver and tscottme Thank this. -
Then your only choice is to go with WIOA: Local Four-Year Plans - DWD which was recommended by other drivers also on this thread.Another Canadian driver, tscottme and MSWS Thank this.

Seems odd, there's been people with threads on here that have been hired by training companies. With no or spotty recent work histories.
Another Canadian driver and Riotside Thank this. -
Yea i've read them as well, those posts are what pushed me to sell my vehicle and other expensive items to ensure i could afford the time away during training at one of these schools, obviously a huge ballsy stupid move, but irrelevant now, TMC says they might be able to work with the 1099's i've provided, but with everyone else turning me down, i'm not too hopeful.Another Canadian driver and Boondock Thank this.

Other 1099s will probably hire you once you get a CDL, but don' forget to reduce the 1099 pay by 25-30% to understand how much you can keep after taxes which you will owe to the govt. 1099s are not going to give you a free CDL because, being tax cheats, they don't risk their money for you.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

Maybe he's trying to do everything online and assuming anything offline is impossible.Another Canadian driver and Boondock Thank this.

Possibly, i've applied online, called, emailed, i'm not sure what more i can do other than showing up to a CDL school in another state to ask about my application.Another Canadian driver, cke, tscottme and 1 other person Thank this.

The Steven's website itself says 3 years verifiable employment or unemployment. Most of them just want verification of what you've been doing the last 3 years.
Another Canadian driver and MSWS Thank this.
