Call the sheriff department and see if it's a problem if you plan on leaving it more than 72 hours... If they don't have an issue they will put a note on their computer systems saying you got permission ect ect...

Apparently this is an Arizona statute so the OP really has no recourse. As to asking the sheriff's department to "look the other way"....why would they do that? Their job is to enforce the law, whether they agree with it or not. Sure, it'd be nice to park there, but if it were me, I'd rather pay the $10 at the truckstop than pay the very expensive towing bill. Just my .02 worth.

El Paso has a city ordinance prohibiting the parking of commercial truck and trailers on residential streets. If you can fit your bobtail on your property, that's OK.

I live in Fort Worth. I actually called and asked about that and they said it was okay if in the driveway but that was 10 years ago so who knows now. I just park mine at the yard these days.

Sorry, but I don't want to see your truck parked on the side of the road. Pay for parking or make arrangements to park on property under your control. I really don't get the mentality of I'll just park my business where I dang well please.

EZ Money and ladr Thank this.
