@Kyle G.
By the way, if you are currently living in Iowa, that is a beautiful state!! I love it. My sister lives there with her boyfriend in Ames. I love the country scenery....never gets old![]()

Thanks, I like it here. I live way east of Ames but go to that area pretty regularly.CAXPT, cke and TooTiredToTalk Thank this.

Ah, I see. Went on a run with my ex-husband when we were married still to Chicago and yeah, no thanks. I've NEVER met such racist, rude ### people other than Galveston.

I stopped in Altoona on my way to Indianapolis last June. Had to get a tire fixed on my PV. Wasn't holding air. Nobody had anything in truck stops to fix it until I could get it replaced, so I had to overfill it and got to a I think Les Scwab there in Altoona to get it replaced. The people were real nice out that way.

Just wanted to comment on using the winch bar. You can get a variety of them, long, short, ergonomic, even ratchet types. Good idea to carry more then one. I carry 3, a shorty, about 20 inches, hold over from low boy days. A standard one, about 34/36 inches and a long one with a box end for snap/lever binders, that one is 40 inches.
Please don’t bounce or jump on the bar, it is a good way to injure yourself. If something should break, come loose, move, or you slip, you could be looking at a face full of bar, trailer or ground. It will probably hurt good. -
I raise my hand. I totally take responsibility for this posting!! Thank you lol. I kept looking online and none of them made sense to me and what to get and where to get them other than like freaking expensive Iowa 80....commercial grade. But also I'm broke as heck right now and my boss is kinda delaying getting an extra winch bar or whatever I need, and I'm nervous that my load won't be strapped down tight enough because like I said, he can usually get another 2 to 3 clicks on the winch ot whatever you call the thing that the strap is on that you put the winch bar into to tighten them.

Ummm "....2 to 3 clicks on the winch ot whatever you call the thing that the strap is on that you put the winch bar into to tighten them."
Gemini, that's a winch that you put that winch bar in... don't go van mind on us.
