Thank you again for all your good advice, Western Express as a last resort, why do you say that? Ironically they are the only company I've applied to that hasn't rejected me yet. Although I'm a bit leery of them based on online reviews.

Just go for it. Western has a terminal in Houston I think, but not sure. Stick with them for 6 months at least to get your work history smoothed out. Their trucks are nice and have TV installed already.
Try a few other applications and if you have to go with Western Express, just do it. Sometimes we have to crawl before we walk. -
If you're dac says you resigned for company policy violations
..... Keep it at that don't bring it up ever again unless someone asks what the policy was
Learn to never volunteer personal information, it's none of their bee's wax what you were doing 7yrs ago anyway -

I think R.E. West has a terminal in Houston. It's dry van & driver unload.
Submit lots of applications and see what happens. -
I have you a job right now but it's over the road, 3 weeks out one week off. So 12 weeks off a year.
Very small company based in ft Wayne in. Ave load is 2200 miles.
They will take you.
