Uniden trucker ptc104 cb

    I was goin thru my grandfathers garage the other day and found an old uniden trucker ptc 104 cb,can anyone tell me if this is or would be still a good radio to use.I doubt it was ever peaked or tuned can I still get this done to it and how could I get some more power in it to get out there.I am new to this cb thing up until now I have just bought and used stock model cb's any help at all would be useful.

    Hi there friend, I have the Trucker PTC 104 radio, in fact I have it hooked up now for a base with a power supply. It works Great and I use a power mic too. Get it peaked and the Modulation turned up, and you will be ready to go. You might not even need a power mic once it is turned up. I also have an Antron 99 for a base antenna. Hope this helps you.
