Easy fix: Just park in Lowe's Home Improvement parking lots. They don't care if you do, and they have a free wifi connection. It times out after 2 hours and you have to reload the Lowe's page, but how long is the average movie?
Unlimited data plans.

Walmart also has wifi, McDonalds has wifi if you can find one with parking close (not the truck stop locations) sometimes if you find parking near hotels you can get free wifi. Target has free wifi which works quite well but I think they are picky about trucks parking unless your pulling a target trailer. Some of the smaller mom and pop truck stops have free wifi.

I am grandfathered with Verizon's unlimited data and I use my phone as a mobile hotspot. I used over 70 gb last month and I'm very impressed with Verizon's 4g coverage.

I'm with Sprint and I am consistently over 120gb per month between streaming tv shows, movies, and FaceTime with the kids. I haven't heard a peep from the mint he last 12 months. I am pretty pleased with their 4g coverage and it's constantly expanding. They're the only carrier left with true, I throttled data.

I got my jetpack from Millenicom last week. It works great and Verizon does have the best coverage. So you get Verizon's great coverage with twice the data for about the same cost and no contract. Works for me. Now if I could only get my GenieGo at home to work "out of home" Dang port forwarding... You should not have to be a NASA scientist to hook this stuff up these days...

Opps i was wrong, Verizon charges $20 a month just to have the access so for a total of $70 a month you can get 8 gigs from Verizon or 20 Gigs from Millenicom on the same network.

I have an old Verizon unlimited plan. But I also got an old phone with it. The way I understand it is as soon as I get a new phone my unlimited plan goes away. I could be wrong on that but I don't want to get a new one and lose unlimited data. The old droid is still working.
