They have not yet released their 4G/LTE signal boost amps yet, but it is imminent. they are just waiting on final approval from the FCC.

To give you an idea of just how well they work....

A few years ago I was in Western Oklahoma west of Woodward driving from Dodge City, KS and I lost all signal on my verizon droid incredible 3G and my phone was in roaming with ZERO bars of service. I stopped on the side of the road plugged in my maximum signal boost amp and I had FULL 5 bars of service and could text, talk and use data with no issues. and there was no roaming charges.

It also worked great up in the mountains of Tennessee.

its not worth it since I never have a 3g, its always 4g or lte, lte has been out for awhile, heck 4g has been out for a long time so it seems they should of caught up by now.

 

i didnt see a price on the LTE models yet, so how can you be so sure?

lots of testing and documentation and stuff needed to get approvals. but they will be worth it once they are out. to have signal in an area you might desperately need it to call for help or get word to someone to send the cavalry is worth its weight in gold.

4g has been out for a couple years but not really widespread and not completely functional. most networks are still expanding coverage and full operation.

 

what I wonder is if the amp can bring in lte, for example when I shut down near the dc I work at I only get 4g but if I travel a few miles down the road and park in another area I get the lte, I wonder if it would be able to catch the lte in the non existent spot for faster speeds. Would be expensive though just for me to obtain faster internet since I do not need it for normal coverage, I hardly ever go into a dead zone if I even do at all.

 

I have been able to keep my Unlimited through Verizon by buying phones off of Craigslist when it's time to upgrade my phone to a newer model. You can find some decent deals that way. Just make sure the phone is good. If there is any doubt, have the seller meet you at a Verizon store so it can be checked before any money changes hands.

4g is LTE and vice versa. but in a nutshell, a sb amp will get you service where there is no signal.
