Unlimited wireless Data plan?

no limit on mine , i use sling box pro , your cable TV or sat , at home over your lap top ........

 

I have seen that sling box pro on another thread, i dont know much about it. Can you watch tv on it besides surf the net?

 

yeah , any TV station you get at home , you can get over your lap top ......

 

how much does sling box cost? could get pretty pricey if you have to pay for that and 60 a month for aircard. What if you dont have cable or sat at the house does the aircard still work with out sling box for the internet? And how is that connection, just the aircard?

 

one time fee of 160.00 for the box and software ....the sling box is at your home 20 , you plug your wireless router into it and your cable line , or DSL , all you need is a high speed internet connection at home the software does the rest.

yep ......... Sling box is the greatest invention ..... well outside of an 18 speed tranny

 

I am looking at the web site now it does seem pretty cool. Thanks for the info even if i dont get slingbox right away i am glad alltel has a good aircard to use on a laptop.

dont know if anyone said this....i use atand t- really cingular....that have a limit but dont inforce it...basically its about $60 a month unlimited......the regular reception is about between dial up and a cable modem speed.....the 3g around major cities is as fast as a cable modem connection.....i have no complaints and with an external antanae on the truck hooked into the air card get internet pretty well anywhere.....BUT i have not been pleased with the qualiy of air card they sell....the service and cost have been good and predictable....but DONT buy a 'usb air card 881' they suck....they sent me a free some other air card...its a little beter....good luck with your choice.
