    That's theirs, next time cross that off on the confirmation sheet and write in $1000 per day. At $300 it just pays the driver.

    A broker won't accept you on a load if you cross something out and put your numbers.

    I just delivered a load that's scheduled for tommorow @ 1pm.

    Its amazing what a positive vibe (plus $10 palm grease) can do.

    trailer was empty in 20 mins --- 15hrs earlier than scheduled

    And yet we have owners here that treat it as a business and manage to get those contracts.

    Here is a small tip for you. If you don't make contracts that benefit your company, you have no one to blame but yourself.

    If the broker refuses the addition, simply refuse to pull the load. If detention never happens then they will gladly sign to get the load moved. If they won't pay (the real amount) detention, there is likely a reason.
