Problem with motorola is i had the droid bionic with verizon. That thing was the biggest pos I've ever owned. Not only was it glitchy, after 3 months it started running hot and falling apart. After 6 months i threw a fit with verizon. There's no way a person can complete a 2 year contract with a phone that's missing it's buttons and a screen that won't work. They finally caved in and i ended up with the samsung note2.

There's a reason why motorola is at the bottom of the list of top sellers. Don't think i'll ever want to own motorola again.

They've come a long way since the Bionic. I had one also and you're right about them, but the X Pure is night and day different.
I know I'll only buy unlocked phones from now on and pay cash for them. That leaves out the Samsungs and iPhones because I'm not going to pay upwards of $1,000 for a phone.

I"m only buying unlocked also. They just don't last 2 years.

I just bought the newly released note9. I've owned samsung since the note 2. At least i can get some months out of them. I need to call ATT though and get it unlocked. It can handle dual sims. I might throw in a sprint or verizon to go with the att.

I have to eat my words it seems. Possibly due to me rooting my Motorola, it pretty much died on me a few months back. I now have an iPhone 8 Plus that I paid cash for and it’s also the unlocked version that’s compatible with any carrier.

Wow that is terrible, some people in general and republicans in particular should NEVER try to sing nip hop or rap. And yes that includes editing clips. Geesh couldn't they find a Jewish person to make that?

Costco and likely others like Amazon sell unlocked Moto G phones. They will work on any network, about $200.

The nice thing is they don't come with invasive crapware that networks put on there either, just the base system.

If your phone is not paid for, your carrier will not give you an unlock code.
Once the phone is fully paid for, you can request the unlock code from your carrier by telling them you plan on visiting Mexico and you want to be able to use a prepaid sim card while you're out of the country.

They still won't give you unlock code.

I switched my sprint phone to att.

It's done in some number of days. Whenever they feel like it. And it's done over the air. So phone needs to be activated.

I don't know why it matters for international or not.
