i think its funny! just make sure your truck is clean and looking good (so its professional!

in all honesty, if your employer made you mad cruising in their equipment is just bonus points to heal your hurt feelings)
otherwise, makes sense to be a person and show up in your own vehicle. sometimes, it's not the employer who caused your decision to leave, but changes in circumstances. i personally never used my work truck for anything but work, or search for food, shower and safe parking.
i doubt new employer cares what you drive to their office...as long as you don't idle on the premises

She said nothing about abandoning the truck in a competitors lot. She simply is asking if it was wrong to drive your present employers truck into a competitors lot to apply for a position there. It couldn't have been stated any clearer than that. We're 66 posts in and that has been pretty much the understanding of the entire discussion.
