Makes all the difference. Workers comp is if you’re injured because of your work duties, not because you decided to pull a bender and wreck a company vehicle.

No. If he was working then he should be covered. Then again, the OP hasn't actually said he was working at the time of the accident.

Doesn’t matter, many things will get your claim denied if they can prove your negligence.
Had a wheel fell off while he was driving, he would’ve been covered.
You can’t go to work, jump out your truck window on video, land on your head and get workers comp.
    Not how it works.
I’ve won several and lost several claims with workers comp when I owned my businesses.

Thanks for the heads up, I knew they were pretty strict. Any chance Roehl might look at me? I might check Swift as well. Heard CR England and the like are ones to avoid.

Where is your location? Maybe there's other choices.

Millis Transfer is a good choice. School in Eden.
Carolina Logistic - school in Candler - www.carolinalogistic.com
There's more; let me do some checking.
    Here's one:
YRC Holland in Raleigh has a driver training program. Usually require one yr. experience, but sometimes will train a driver and help him get a cdl.
    Union outfit with good benefits.
Not always openings available, but worth checking into.
Click here for info on the company > Apply On Company Site
