All four tires where in my lane. I backed out in my lane front of truck heading west I hugged the ditch to straighten out already in drive and moving. All my tires were in my lane. The bed was on the line not over it but directly on. She came down the hill saw me and slammed on her breaks. Then she started swerving she came into the lane and then flew back into hers several times. When I saw her I already knew she was going to hit me so I started getting off on the shoulder to avoid her and she slammed into the back driver side. She hit my L arms right in front of the wheel lift. She went under it.

I'm honestly not sure why she freaked out either. If she would have just slowed down or even tapped her breaks she would have been okay. It was super slick out today snow was everywhere I had already been to 3 accident's. I personally think she was going to fast for conditions saw me straighten out and slammed on her breaks then tried to gain control. She was swerving super bad. Then her husband shows up screaming about how I hit her. How could I hit her on a straight away with the back end of my truck?

You def gotta fight that ticket. Otherwise its looks like its all your fault. Get a lawyer for a few hundred bucks or at least consult with one. You dont want that ticket on your record. -
I don't think she was aware I was backing at all. I don't think she knew until I told her. I didn't get to hear what she told the police but when her husband showed up he made it sound like I was in the middle of the road. She kept going from totally calm to breaking down sobbing. Kept putting her head in her hands and then throwing her arms everywhere. She said she was on her way to work. Even if she was just going straight she wouldn't have hit me. It's when she started swerving

Heck, get 2 dash cams, 1 for each side of the windshield!

I'm pretty sure my dash cams got her swerving everywhere I have a front and back. It's just a large blinds where she actually hit.
Cabinover101 and BigDog Trucker Thank this. -
