Then shame on you for not doing the right thing...quit griping about bad loads , and not enough hours to move them then...you can't have it both ways.....If a dispatcher tells you you have to take it , and both you and the dispatcher know you don't have the hours to make it legally , then tell him to go pound sand..or tell him to change the delivery time so you can make it legally....or take it on your self to drive illegally...NO one can force a driver to run illegal....the driver makes that CHIOCE....If you don't want to stand up for your own safety..its no one's fault but yours....

    No, I don't.

    Doesn't make it excusable though.

I'll have to agree with you there. Many times companies wanted me to deliver a load with not nearly a time to make it within my hours.I'm not at all afraid to say no.They wanna fire me not a problem,I was looking when I found that job.Rather be unemployed then with a company that wants drivers to risk their CDL.Companies don't pay me even close to enough to do any special favors for them.

When the e-logs become the standard...you will all be better off....the shippers and relievers won't have as much control over freight, deliveries will have to scheduled with enough time to be run legally..they will keep everybody involved honest.
