The loader wasn't being a jerk, it was the driver who wears flip flops and shorts being the jerk. Read the post completely

That would involve use of something between their ears...

IMG_2741.JPG Hey look a very similar load to the OP. It looks like this driver agrees on direct securment as a best practice.

Yes, that is very similar. I do like the way that load is secured. Even without the straps, that load isn't going anywhere with chains pulling both ways.

The thing is though, it takes what, 20 minutes to throw 4 chains and binders?
Leave legal out the discussion. Leave time and money out the discussion. It would take 20-30 minutes to add 4 chains, or 2 chains/4 binders to a load like that. Tarp it and strap it if ya wanna strap over tarps. Can't seriously tell me 20-30 minutes is worth keeping it out of the truck cab or off the road.
Sorry I'm having more and more issues with lazy people, and idiots. Lazy and stupid have no business in open deck.

FalconEye wired 4 camera system. It was not cheap (~700) but with what I do one accident could cost me many thousands in earnings. I would much rather have evidence vs. he said she said.

The only issue I have is the user interface is almost non existent. It's a multiple step process to get from a saved video on the system to a video file on a computer.

Thank you You are dead on with the inaccurate and biased eyewitness accounts. Money spent to be ahead in the game is money well spent.

kylefitzy, 1951 ford and MJ1657 Thank this.
