I just found this forum last night and couldn't sign off. I started trucking in '93 and came off the road in 2007. I loved the lifestyle and always enjoyed the late night CB stories and antics that helped keep a driver awake. I haven't had so much as a conversation with another trucker in several years so really enjoyed reading so many of your posts. I was eager to join in so posted before really getting an idea of what I'd like to be recognized for on this forum and regret starting off sounding like a know it all. So, thanks for the company and from now on this old retired woman flatbedder will stick to telling funny stories. Have fun on your run.

Some of our members have been making references lately about the addictive quality of the place. Looks like you got hooked already too!

Thank you both. I typed that out because whenever I've clicked on that Thanks button I get a message telling me I can't access that page or edit someone's post, something like that--I'll eventually figure it out. Yes, I'm already a addicted. Appreciate the welcome.

yeah it is kind of addicting isn't it? lol even for a newbie like me it's an eye-opening look at the real world and not the hype on the company websites.
UTurn55 Thanks this. -
