Vehicle prices about to hit new highs again. I mean its not disgusting enough that you can't even get a base model for under $40k these days, may as well push onwards to $60k.

    I certainly hope you’re right.

There’s not much inventory in the outbound lots. The company heads have purposely scaled back production to reduce availability of vehicles, then, raised the sticker prices, which has created the incredible profit numbers the industry is seeing, because people need/want vehicles and have to pay the inflated prices. Tim Kuniskis, Dodge CEO, said this in a live interview! Now, they’re all doing it.

Overtime for returning workers is doubtful, because that drives up labor costs. The CEO’s don’t want to pay it and they certainly don’t want to up production and kill off the scam they’ve got going.

There are few bets surer than betting the Teamsters will honor the picket lines. Those silly signs they'll be carrying might as well be a welded steel wall.

Ford plants were like that in June, as well. Last week, KC was mostly cleaned out. The stamping plant doors have been closed, the last three times I’ve been in there. I’ve not seen that the previous 9mos or so.

Tonight, I was up at the Torrence plant. Not much going on, at the outbound lot. Plenty of logistics traffic, though.

Some awfully un-American sentiments in here. Almost word-for-word like a billionaire had his hand inside you like a ventriloquist.
