update on marten

Ok so your saying that marten has gotten better i'm thinking of leaving dart transit company and coming over to marten transport i live in denver colorado so i would be running on the 11 western fleet and the website said they do have a lease purchase program but it's through a third party vendor which could be great that way if i get fed up with them i could pull the truck and go with another company please let me know what you think of marten don't hold anything back

 

i was leased to marten from 02-05 & they had that lease purchase program going back then & many people tried to leave with truck but it was in the contract that u had to keep truck leased with marten. things could have changed since then but, randy being as greedy as he is & a spoiled little brat, i doubt he changed that in it. 3rd party finance company & marten work together so u won't do as u think.

 

where is orientation for the western fleet? Cali or Oregon? thanks.

 

I'm from washington so Wilsonville would be closer. where is the western fleet dispatched out of?

 

I just started with Marten in Aug of 12 and I live/run out of the KC terminal and love it here. They will kill you with miles. I do a-lot of Laredo TX from IA and MN. It's got it's up's and downs as a company but for the most part I really enjoy it. They give you your load and leave you alone. I suppose with any company you get roped into local delivery every once in a while but it's not very often. I know my wife really enjoys the paycheck from here.
