update on southernpride

I'm glad SP is in no pain. If only there was a way to take away the pain for the family and friends.

This just plain sucks why we have to loose good people like SP. I wish him well in trucker heaven where he will have the biggest Pete 379EXHD god can give him.

Dino...I used to work for a foreman who couldn't read above a 5th grade level....
His wife filled out his daily reports...Actually neatly typed....

I had to explain a notice given to him by the gas company....
But the guy could tear down an engine and rebuild it with both eyes closed.....


I have some college myself....I have met many people with BS to Ph.D......Some are just plain idiotic despite their degrees....
I have met farmers in the Midwest that had more sense than any people I know.....


Education is only worth something if you use the brain that education was supposedly absorbed into........If you don't use sense with the education....it's almost as bad as not being able to read or write.......

 

Not to get all religious on you people right now....but bear this in mind....

God only calls in the best when he's ready.....We have no choice....when it's time to go home...You are going......


SP was among the very best of us....I hope I can be half of what SP is......

 

You're plate is overflowing, Dino. It's a lot to deal with all at one time, and yet you keep pushing forward. Just remember to take care of yourself while being strong for everyone else.

I'll say a prayer for your FIL, Aunt and the warden, also.

 

Dino stay strong friend. It has been a long difficult road not just for you seeing what goes on but for the Mrs as she struggles to hold onto the last fleeting moments of not only her husband of many many years but also her best friend, most trusted consoler, closest comforter in times of sorrow, times of joy and times of peace. The love of her life, the protector against the harms of this world, the leader, supporter during the worse times of life, and many many more attributes.

The reason I can say this is becuz of seeing my grandparents and observing them for several years b4 grandma passed away come 6yrs this Dec.

I not only am still praying for her and SP but I have my Sunday school class praying as well.

 

Dino,I'm so sorry to have just found this thread tonight about Mr.SP's health situation. I read almost as slow as i type,but i would just like to say how much i have always enjoyed reading Mr.SP's post in the o/o section. I noticed he had not posted in a while,and i just assumed he was running his truck's and was just busy with his company. I am saddened,truly saddened to hear this recent news of Mr.SP's bad run of health. Please know that this 'ol grain-hauler from Ky. is praying for Mr.SP that the Lord would ease his pain and suffering and that the Lord will comfort Mrs. SP and their whole family at this time. I always enjoy his ''common-sence'' approach to issues and have missed seeing his post. Again,i'm truly sorry for not posting my support for this fine GENTLEMAN before tonight.

I would also like to thank you too,from what i have read,it sounds like you have truly been a REAL friend to Mr. and Mrs.SP. May the Lord Bless ya for all you have done for Mr.SP and his wife. It is of my opinion after reading thru this thread that both you and Mr.SP have been richly blessed for getting to know each other.
