Remeember one thing....we are only given in life what we can handle and you Sir, have been given the mother load, but handle it with true grace as the gentleman that you are. I again thank you for all you have done for SP and the Mrs and for your TTR family!

 

sorry to hear that dino--but now at least sp can free and not sick anymore--the world was definately a better place because of his contributions

 

He's just taken a road that we ain't allowed on yet. But that road waits for every one of us. And it ain't nothing but another road.

 

His struggles are over and he fought quite the battle. Prayers for understanding for Mrs SP and everyone this man has touched.

Y'know, it's odd.... I was watching the re-runs of Dangerous Catch (leading up to Capt Phil's death) last night and was thinking of SP all the way. The similarities; a seemingly grumpy ol character who demands (and gets) the best of everyone around him. The long-shot hope of friends and family. The stunned reaction and sorrow on his passing.

Like the characters on the show we grieve his passage but must carry on. The best thing we can do now is not sorrow, but to celebrate his having lived and touched all of us. Here's to ya SP, you made the world a better place. That's a heck of a legacy and the best any of us can strive for. Roll on driver.
