I think my other profile got deleted. But I had started a thread on a Freightliner purchase in 2018, a 2015 Cascadia.

I was mercilessly berated for getting such a loser truck and warned of all the Def/Dpf issues to ensue.

Well, yes, I should have been more patient and done more research. I like the way Peterbilts look, but I don't like living in them. And at the minimum, I should have got a glider if going Freightliner. Unfortunately, the situation I was in I had to act quickly. And it was even a local job. But I wanted something I could live in, just in case.

And the just in case did happen after the Covid.

Bur you were right about the DEF. The problems came and the costs mounted with no solution. I was told by Freightliner that even if I replaced the OneBox, it still might not solve the problem I was having. Because they didn't know what the problem was. Nox sensors were replaced, DEF awning kit installed, and something else. But still shutting down and getting errors.

So I got rid of it. That's all I can say I guess. But it runs better than ever before. I know it was a big risk, anything can happen. But I was facing ruination if I continued throwing money at Freightliner. I can't say how happy I am after having it removed.

I can't, and wont', refer anyone so please no PM's regarding this matter.
