Upgrading Fleet Advice Needed for Small Fleet Owner

    I WOULD NOT BUY ANYTHING OR BELIEVE THE MPG CLAIMS until they let you "try one for a week" or even if you had to rent one for a week it would be the best money you ever spent to make sure it is the right decision. If they want to sell 6 new trucks they'll let you try one for a week.

    I worked for a fleet that leased Ryder tractors. They were a small company and had a Ryder shop on their property.
    If you had a mechanical problem, you called Ryder. And their drivers could fuel and get repairs at other Ryder shops.
    And you can vary the fleet size as needed.

    I agree with renting or leasing for a short time to check the performance of these new, complicated trucks.
