Ups address before attending phoenix academy ?

Hhmmmm if your not from AZ. I would see if you could use the paper copy to get a hard copy in your state.

 

That way it will not matter what AZ address you have on the paper copy of your Class A license.

 

I went thru this when I went to Swift back in 2005. Had to give up my CA license, get the AZ permit, then AZ CDL, (they did issue hard copies on sight at the AZ DMV) , and the address was actually the terminal's. I then went back to CA and got my license re-issued there. Definitely a pain in the butt, but that was the procedure then....

 

I agree it is a pain in the back side. But the feeling you get when you see your name and your address on your state's CDL makes you feel some type of way. Lol

 

AZ MVD no longer issues an actual license on the spot. Because of enhanced security they issue a paper temp and mail the actual CDL to you about a week later.

If you're coming from out of state make sure you have either your passport or your birth certificate when you visit the AZ MVD or they won't do anything for you.

 

Wow so to the individual that was asking the initial question. Are they going to mail your CDL to Swift HQ or to the hotel?

 

Sounds like a question for your first day in class.

 

Kool as long as your mailing addresses that swift has is to your home. So you can get your benefit cards ect. You should be good. But yes ask about that in class like Steve suggested. If you don't mind. Give us a up date on that.
