What are your favorite and least favorite things about usx? Like what gets your gear grinding or keeps them turning? I'm just honestly curious about it cause I have heard some good things and some bad things about them and want to know where everyone stands

I would say, read the top 5 threads here in the DAC section and see what people have to say. Look at the amount of post that they have as well. If someone was to com in here and complain about how bad USX is and they have less then 10 posts total, then I would wonder if what they had to say was believable.

You are welcome to read about what I have been dealing with on the training program. You can read about SheepDog and his thread and going thru Orientation. I went thru Orientation the same time he did.

If you have questions, feel free to ask. If you would rather send a private msg then you can do that too.

For someone starting out in the trucking industry then from a lot of what I have read, USX seems to be a good place to start.

Just take some time to read what is here.

HD Renegade I actually have, It's what I do in my spare time, I know that Nonocraig loves usx and sheepdog is just getting started (on his second week i believe). I just wanted to know if anyone else was out there with a different opinion than the people who post normally on the boards.

If you have a face book account go here too --> http://www.facebook.com/USXpressDrivers
You can read a lot there too. I have been told and have already seen it to be true too. USX Corporate watches that page a lot.

Yes SheepDog is a good guy. Anna, and Craig have been helpful and Flood and a few others too.

Do you need to find a CDL School?

Are you looking to get into the Industry soon?

Not sure of your situation and I am not asking, but I have heard of some people finding outside sourcing Gov and Un-enjoyment paying for the CDL school too. I had 2 in my class that had outside funding that paid for them to go to school.

Research, Research, Research, Research, and you may be able to find some funding to get you to where you would like to be.

I wanna get money saved cause I know that the first few weeks out on the road can be tough and I might settle down and start a family soon so I don't know how it will work out atm but I do know that at some point in my life I will be a truck diver no matter what

Training pay is very low. It is like 57 dollars a day I think. Keep in mind you may want to think about a few other things for living on the road too.

    Inverter
Mini Fridge electric or plug in the dash of the truck
    Small Microwave
    CB
    Cell Phone

You will want to talk things over with your significant other to make sure they are ok with what you want to do too.

Then look at do you want to do OTR or a dedicated route and maybe try to be out for 5 days and home for the weekends.
