They would be better off by getting the packages to fly themselves and load them up on airplane then open the cargo door up inthe sky and let em fly

Black and decker in Hampstead Maryland fired almost 900. Hired me as a mail clerk that any one of the 900 could have done.
Interesting work. But not for me. The politics among the kitty cats beyond their prime upstairs ugh. rwar, hiss, claw etc.LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
They'd land all over the place. Hope the yard don't have a guard dog. Lol. People would be outside looking up like they was throwing shirts at a concert. Lol.

To add to this UPS is always looking to be the first at everything when it comes to delivery. They like to be the leader whether it will work or not. They don't want a competitor to do it first and be successful.
But with the drone on the package car, the drone was on the roof. Driver can feed the drone a package from from inside the van. Then fly it to a backyard, or down a long driveway.
Whether it happens or not is a whole different story. But it did look feasible.LtlAnonymous, FlaSwampRat and x1Heavy Thank this. -
There's no way of escaping it. Technology will always be replacing humans. And no career field is safe. They have some form of automation in the works to replace doctors, surgeons, construction workers. You name it! Even soldiers!
Labor is a cost all companies are working diligently to shed.LtlAnonymous, FlaSwampRat and x1Heavy Thank this. -

They've/we've already been doing this for a few years----to deliver medical supplies to remote villages in Africa. Very light viles of blood. Don't have time to provide the link, and even then i'm not sure if i'm allowed to post it.
So, i'm not sure if FAA approval was need for Africa?
