    Math class with Mr. Garrison. 74C1850A-0133-4FDF-AFED-CD689E9D7C83.png
    If Jonnie the hourly UPS driver makes $38.68 an hour and works approximately 62.05 hours a week how much will Jonnie make? Can anyone answer this question? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?
    38.68x40=1547.20 (40 hours at straight time)
    38.68x1.5=58.02 (OT rate)
    58.02x22.05=1279.34 (22.05 hours weekly at OT rate)
    1547.20+1279.34=2826.54 (gross weekly pay) Vacation weeks are paid slightly different so Jonnies results will be a little different, but since he steals time on occasion he will make up the difference.
    2826.54x52=146,980.08 (estimated weekly pay for Jonnie)
    Next week Mr. Garrison will explain how Susan, the Brown truck mileage driver at UPS makes even more money than Jonnie does because she gets paid nearly $1 a mile and all of her clock time is paid at time and a half. The week after next Mr. Garrison will explain how Jack and Jill, UPS Sleeper Team drivers are paid each $2,700-$3,000 a week driving their white sleeper truck all over the country. Since they are both money hungry they both work an extra day a week picking up $700-$800 or so depending on the job they run extra.
    One may not know it, but I do have a slight sense of humor.

    That stub was at 51 weeks so redo your math. That stub shows 49.15 hours with 25 being overtime and 24 being regular. Explain that mr garrison.

    Quit being a douche. I think he did a pretty good job of showing you can make some crazy money at UPS. And I thought most people knew that anyway

    It was a hypothetical statement in Mr. Garrisons example. If you have the ability to do math stop a UPS driver and ask him how long he has been there. If he has been there at least 5 years ask him his hourly rate. Then do the math.

    Look at the dates of the check and you will see one 8 hour day. That was a paid holiday that the driver took off. He then probably worked a day in addition to the 4 scheduled days which would have been paid at time and a half or possibly ran a mileage job that day. I really do not see you working there so it probably is a moot point.

    This may be way over your head, but if someone will help you with math look at this. Then figure $3.65 in raises over the next four years to get to current rates. The mileage raises will be a tough one for you to figure, but with some help you may be able to do it. Then even tougher figure what the same driver will be making in 4 more years if he gets raises similar in the future as he has in the past. If your aren’t near as snotty I will help you understand the different categories should you ask. 0A4BDA61-C0E6-41E2-84A0-6D94B170F355.png

    Dude I completed calc 3. Everybody didn't struggle to pass hs algebra or trigonometry.
    you posting somebody else's photoshop. Post your pay stub you worked there didn't you Mr Garrison?
    I know you're not tech savvy but I could Photoshop that pay stub in 5 minutes on my phone while I'm driving.

    Figure it out on your own as you clearly think you know more than anyone else on this forum about a job you haven’t worked.

    I always heard those guys made top wages. If you're new CEO doesn't sell or destroy your company, you'll probably be ok.
