I'll take being a bored anonymous number with a fat paycheck over a fun friendly family environment, but struggling to cover my bills any day.

1) i apologize for not doing too well this year; i'll try better next year. OR, i may have to accept that i'm a $60,000-a-year man and will have to budget for this. Now, i DID NOT reach full pay scale until august, so that may have been a factor.
2) Tractors don't have enough caster, fuel tanks too small, little bit of "estrogen poisoning" going on at a few terminals. Other than that, i STILL think this is a great gig and good place to work.dwells40 Thanks this. -
Well u had what, 5 months at top rate? So 2019 u should see 80k for gross.

Let's recap:
First year, $40,706 lame.
Second year $59,179 lame.
Third year $58,498 lame. How the F do you make LESS than the 2nd year...........?
Forth year $69,641 lame. But this is the first time i've ever broken $60K at any job at least.
LAME. Still not driving a suburban. Wonder why?
2) Still have lots of overnite trailers in the system. There are even a few overnite tractors. Not at my terminal though. A few motor cargo trailers and dollys in the system and they need help.
3) Terminals that are ranked higher tend to be able to "get away" with more stuff that terminals that are rated lower can.
4) i will say this: i honestly cannot remember when the last time i cussed on the job. And that's a good thing.dwells40 Thanks this. -

i've been working some city, daytime, p+d lately because it's slow. Although linehaul is picking up.
Not doing so hot, as you can see. -
Yep. Beginning of the year doldrums. Only work on the bad weather days.

Driver, our cussing is due to the motoring public.........
