This illustrates that if a manager and/or dispatch wants to know IF you want to RUN and you RUN, this is what can be achieved here. Again, this is not practical or sustainable, by me at least, due to health hazards especially increased risk of alzheimers and host of other problems. Now, if one has an emergency---- unexpected shorty (ies), other emergencies, then i can understand. But be AWARE that while the numbers look good on paper, it is not practical health-wise or mental/spirit-wise. There may be cats that can run at night for years and years with no ill-effects, but in general, IT DOESN'T WORK.
1) This check, which was last week, was when i was really tired----i put the one arrow on the last check in the wrong place. i had also went to take a "nap" at about 3pm sat, but slept until 10pm, got up, posted the check, got something to eat, and then went back to sleep until about 7:30 am sunday.
2) This just past week(for the upcoming check) was much lighter, however i still took a nap last night/Friday at a hub because i did feel a little tired and for also my new policy of taking naps even when i feel "ok" and not very sleepy. i still slept for 3 hours----which proves i WAS tired even though i did not think i felt that tired.
i think we might get used to the feeling of tiredness and may downplay it, but tiredness is still definitely there.?
ALSO, as with last saturday, i decided to take another "nap" at about 3pm thinking i would only sleep for 1-3 hours or so. i just woke up about one hour ago. This further illustrates how tired i apparently am; Even with the much lighter week (sat for two days AND the holiday, so that's 3 days sitting) and still "napped" long.
This further illustrates that the night-time work is NOT sustainable.
3) i just blew up the check and i noW realizE that i need a tax shelter BAD.
MY tYping and speelling is starting to go WAY off which i think may show how foggy and apparently tired i am?

"Blew up" as in enlarged. $632 in taxes! That is sevreal nice meals at high-end restaurants and nice rims for a suburban that i don't have.
NOT that i would buy those thing, i'm just illustrating how much $632 in one week is.
Put another way--$632 could very well be a monthly payment on a new suburban. Not that i would do that either.dwells40 Thanks this. -
(p.s. note; i am not spellchecking or grammar checking to observe how tired i may be)

What does your general diet look like?
Bob Dobalina Thanks this. -
Just woke up after going back to sleep at 4am.
Not good; No time mentally:
Sheetz
Rutters
Royal Farms
7-11
McDumpster
Wenchy's
Sunoco
Whatever's available on PA/NJ turnpike which is S&@#^T, except Nathan's although you probably shouldn't be eating that everyday either.....
pilot
flying J----some of them have a hot bar and that seems better?
Nothing else is open late night.
Usually Monster/NOS/Rockstar only to stay awake, not for general drinking. General drinking is water. Although lately it hasn't---it has been juices. In all fairness, lately i do not drink the whole energy drink---i will take sips when needed to stay awake. A lot of times the can is still half-full at the end of the shift.
No time to eat right during the day----got to get home to sleep, then do the same thing over again. (the girl, i'm with doesn't cook, and brings home junky food from her job, not blaming her) So, same diet as above with the exception of grocery store TV type dinners/pizza. i would cook, and have cooked, but there's no time.
i do exercise on a daily basis IF there is time. i cannot always exercise on the 30 mins break due to either taking a nap, or it's too dark, or for other reasons. The exercising usually happens during the daytime. 4-5 hours per week, if things go normal.
i usually eat better when on city---including fruits/vegetables. Because there's more time to shop and more time in general.
This is a REAL LTL diary --- exactly how things are. No glamour BS.

Here i sit. This is unusual and hopefully temporary. At least i am getting normal rest. i had actually, apparently, forgotten what normal(8) sleep is. i actually couldn't get normally comfortable and woke up aching.
i can't find my latest stub. It was not a good week at only $976? gross. i got paid for labor day, but only $232, then only worked two more days. i will do much better on the next check.
2) Dam microsleep happened again recently. And this happened after i took a 1/2hr nap. i don't think 1/2hr nap is quite enough for me; 1 hour will likely do it.

Last week was all niteliner BS---i had to fill in for someone. i thought that dockwork was fun----in small doses, but it turns out, it really doesn't turn me on. i'd rather drive.
--had another dam microsleep; (note: same one as above, so only one) i think that a 1/2 hour nap isn't good enough. i think 1 hour is ok if i haven't been getting good sleep which is actually all the time. -
Still sit last week?
