Just came off team run a few months ago. You are almost correct in your assessment. 1500 is more of a take home than gross, and thats with NY taxes 401 and a few other things taken out.

 

But how do you even get a good sleep in a day cab?

 

What is up with your hostility toward women? You better get rid of that toxic attitude as it will lead you no where good

 

Pine board across the seats with a good pillow does the trick (what I do) or a daycab hammock.

I wouldn't take it as hostility toward women, I'd take it as hostility toward the company allegedly giving a free pass from dock work to women amongst other things in an effort to help add women and minorities to their employee rosters to be able to tout "inclusiveness".

 

Just got this, I was shooting for 70 by this time, but came up a little short, this last raise helped considerably, averaging $6930 a month up from $6800, should be a little over 80 for the year if I keep this up.

 

Broke $100k!

 

Oof. So it's safe to say you'll probably hit $120k this year?! Nice!

 

I'd say so. There's a lot of money to be made peak season. Lots of Saturday and Sunday work for time and a half and double time. Then there's working holidays.
So there's potential to make over that.
