Barr-Nunn put me on ups freight Chicago, illinois , Cleveland, Ohio once I delivered to Boston, Massachusetts ups freight from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania ups freight. Midnight is when the load is always ready and you need to drug yourself with coffee and a multi vitamins to make the time limit delivery. If you stop for a brake your late for your appointment. Everything begins at midnight

I met a guy a year or two ago. He said he could run 150,000 miles a year with them.

New to driving what determines if you need to get scaled or not?

    When in doubt, scale it.
If it's a sealed trailer, you don't know if the load is loaded evenly.
As you're new, scale anything you are not sure about. You will figure it out quickly and know when scaling is not necessary.
I would say scale anything over 38,000 lbs.
But, if you pick up a trailer and it rides kinda funny, scale it.
I once picked up a 38,000 lb load. Rode kinda funny.
I scaled it . 20k on the drives, and something like 38k on the trailer tandems
Apparently they loaded the light stuff in the front and the heavy stuff in the back.
I had to put the trailer tandems to the rear on a 53' to get the trailer tandems under 34k.

If they are still at $1.03-1.05+ FSC, I wouldn't go buying a new truck to pull for those kind of rates, but I also like going home lol.
