    I lucked into a job with UPS Freight. I answered a Craigslist ad for what turned out to be a team driver position with an O/O Independent Contractor. It was a refreshingly simple hiring process because I had a current DOT card.

    If it's UPS freight LTL, then .43, .44 cpm. If truckload i have no idea.

    Now if it IS LTL then it will most likely be at night; That is actually the most important question to ask yourself if you can hack it. The dockwork, if required is pretty easy--cos it's all on pallets. But can you work all night and sleep during the day?
