Ups freight

I agree on the, on call b.s. it is suck worthy. But if you land on extra board ,it's the easiest way to gain senority not too mention cash....lets put it this way I had a hell of lot more easy days on extra board than I did in the city. I'll be bidding extra board again, you can count on it.

 

I’m sorry gents. But UPS is garbage. What’s a nice pay check if you have to put up with upper management BS constantly and be looking over you back all the time. I was there and gave it 1 year. They starve you then if by chance you get a regular run, then they are like big brother. Constantly over your shoulder watching and waiting for you to F up. It’s not worth the stress at all. I left that BS and got a contract with Fedex. They have some issues too but they pay well, for the most part, you do your job? You never hear from management. I started with 1 truck and 3 years later, I have 4 trucks now running. They encourage and help you get your biz going. But you can’t be a lazy entitled A hole. You gotta put the work in to get the prize! I’m happy here... whatever. Hope that helps.
