Yes they are hiring contract carriers .. I am one myself but we only get the ONE WAY stuff that has no return leg on it we can't pull anything with a turnaround on it at all unless a company truck is broke down etc .. ( extreme cases )
They are putting on Lease Carriers with the UPS name on them so that they can get rid of the outside carriers is what I've been told anyway by other company drivers .
