You win I give up. I'll swollow my pride and appoligize. I made a silly comment and you took wrong way. I NEVER think I know it all. If I make a mistake I admit it and never lie. So I just sent PM to your buddy skate that jumped on board. I'll copy and PM you with it. You tell me if I'm crazy and not on right path. Far as I'm concerned this is done.

I made a mistake and knew that I'd hit a nerve saying Lease Operators. Just a reaction cause you mistook my tax , HOS,Fuel tank 15 gallon comment wrong way. I was hoping all would knew I was joking. So truce and I apologize and won't say LO again. Cause one thing about me. I'm 100% for any driver that sacrifices what we do for this country to eat and be clothed and under appreciated.

It's more like the carrier pays any fuel tax owed and other road taxes like NY, KY, AR, KS, NM, OR, etc. I do wonder if those carriers that pay excess allow you to fuel in OR penalty free. I love fueling at the TA east of Portland as the cost plus price is CHEAP compared to pretax pricing going east until you hit MO.

I just posted apology to Skate. I'll do same to you. I apoligize and never should have said Leases O/O as I did. That was a gut reaction to Skate of my silly reply on taxes, size of tank, andfueling time that I thought all would have seen as a silly comment. I Sent you PM prob before you sent this last message. But publicly I apologize as I for one am so for all the drivers that haul the food and clothes and stuff to live for those that under appreciate us. So my apologies. and Exactly on your comments about 4/ 2 last line and his (broker ) condo. After tons of research on that thought alone made me decide way I'm going to try to make it. I also will say I have worked for 2 companies (one that used landstar) and know what rates are out of Florida etc.... So just to say I'm not no spring chicken. I'm just going to other side from them . Any hope you read my Pm and respond and accept my apologies.

Why all the pompous jabs at folks who lease their truck to a carrier( and I'm not talking about the ones getting truck and freight from the same company)? You think running the whole shooting match yourself somehow makes you better than those of us who are for whatever reason letting someone else handle a lot of the pencil pushing?

Personally, I am not running under my own authority until my truck note is paid off and I've purchased a trailer. That's the way I'm running my business, works for me, YMMV and all that.
