I just had a package going from Dallas to my house in SW Arkansas. Was taking too long so I looked up the tracking info. Package went from Dallas to Louisville to somewhere in Wisconsin. Finally I got it.

I gotta say...most of this sounds like user error. *straight face*

The national contract passed, and we just got word here in Chicago the local unions' contracts have passed. It's a done deal.

And a strong contract with some flaws. But you know what? I have yet to see a perfect contract. This gets a solid A-.

I shipped a rather large box from SPI, on Monday, to Delaware. It got there Wednesday. I’ve had three boxes leave Portland and each one get to me in 3 days, over the last couple weeks. Unfortunately, one was damaged. Overall, I consider that good service and definitely better than USPS or FedEx give me. And, every UPS employee has always been exceptionally nice. Again, definitely better than the others.

Misdirected packages usually aren’t human error, as the barcode/conveyor systems regularly make mistakes.

I like UPS for the accessibility to customer service. If I absolutely need something delivered on-time it’s USPS though.
