    @Danny707

    I think you should go with FedEx Freight.

    Texas_hwy_287 and Danny707 Thank this.

    P&D is mostly standard long boxes placed in docks.

    Danny707 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.

    Lot of places I go I see them with doubles. Break down drop empty and 2 different customers and hook loads and go.

    That's not generally how things go near me, just to save time. We have a LOT of places to pick up from.

    jtaran06 Thanks this.

    Good pay and decent benefits that won’t cost you an arm and a leg per paycheck.

    LtlAnonymous and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.

    I don't think I'm understanding. Are you saying it costs us an arm and a leg per paycheck at UPS?

    LtlAnonymous Thanks this.

    Our pay and benefits are WAAY better than FedEx Freight. And if you were trying to say our union dues cost us, my union dues are $24 a week. And I'm at top rate. It is even less for people still in progression. Union dues are based off your hourly pay.
    We pay nothing for our health insurance which is pretty much unrivaled in the industry. It's the absolute best. And we have a generous pension that costs us nothing. Along with a 401k and discounted stock purchase plan. All this for $24 a week in union dues at top rate pay.

    FXF isn't a bad career but if you compare it to UPS, the pay gap is larger than comparing FXF to the absolute bottom of the barrel LTL company.

    @De Trucker

    I'm assuming you work for UPS parcel, not UPSF? Sorry if I missed one of your posts.
