upshifting RPMs

    Aim for the tach to drop back to 1000-1100 rpm after each up shift. Any engine within the past 10 years can be driven that way. As you drive the truck you will get a feel how high you need to rev it to achieve that 1000-1100 rpm mark in different situations.

    Drive an automatic, you wont ever have to worry about shifting. You just have to be flexible enough to drive with your left leg on the dash.
