First let me say thank you to all of you that prayed for us during this. With that said I feel I need to clarify. My name is Jessie and I am Shane's mother. He and his brother have been our life. The police report says that "it appears he may not have been wearing his seat belt" however, when he was examined at the funeral home we were called and told that he had a distinct and unmistakable impression and bruise of a seat belt as if it had snapped or come loose. Let me be the first to tell you that my son was always the first to put a seat belt on. In fact if I didn't have mine on when we went places together, he wouldn't move. There has been no follow up and no replies to our request for follow up from the several different parties involved. My husband and I both used to work for the same company and we know how the trailers are loaded and the routes dispatched. How do you put 3000# rolls of paper on the back end of a trailer when the nose is loaded with light furniture and not think this might not cause a problem.
Our hearts are broken forever. Now all we want is answers.![]()
