US Express for new students?

I hope there auto shifts is not like usa i had one that stayed broke down

 

I'm going to be going to USX this winter and hoping to go solo OTR or Dollar Tree. What's the odds that ill get a manual or an auto? I really want a manual transmission.

 

Im headed there monday and was told id get a manual ill be on the dollar tree acct

 

Sweet, keep me posted on how it turns out. I heard there is good money to be made on that account and my father did it years ago so that's why I want to try it out

 

What's the physical like at USX? Can someone give me some incite on what goes on besides the drug test.

They have been great to me when I was fresh out of school I teamed and made avg 1k take home and drove a brand new truck. Now I am solo on dedicated walmart and they are still running me good. All there trucks are 2010 and newer now. So you wont be driving anything old...plus id say 85% of the trucks are manual now so chances are high you will get one

 

do you have to team with another driver after training with your trainer if you want to go straight away into soloing?

 

Yes, you have to team I think for 8 weeks.
