Heck you might as well just quit USX if you are going to call safety and rat out dp. You will get the problem taken care of but dp will make you pay for calling them out.

To my way of thinking, Pork Chop is dead on the target. Call the Safety Dept. Better yet send Qualcomm message to dispatch, safety and breakdown maintenance. You really need the information to send Qualcomm messages simultaneously to dispatch, safety, terminal manager, breakdown, account reps etc. Just a thought, as a former computer geek some computer applications allow '*all' as an entry. I wonder if that would send a Qualcomm message to everyone in your company from the CEO right on down the chain of command. Hmm, just thinking out loud.
    .
If that does not work, tell dispatcher you will ask the nice police or Dot officer at the very next scale house for their opinion on the matter.
    .
The final nuclear option is to Qualcomm dispatcher, safety and either the terminal manager or account manager that you quit rather than drive an unsafe vehicle. Tell them you will take your stuff, the keys to the truck, the bill of lading paper work and a greyhound bus back home. You will send them the keys and paper work when you get back from your vacation. They should have the keys and bill of lading paper work by....Oh.... probably the end of next month. Bet dispatch changes their attitude real quick.
