Which one would you work for and why? US Foods in my area is union and they deliver to all the little mom and pop restaurants. McLane, in my area, deliver mostly to gas stations. I like coming home every day for US Foods, I heard new guys will be on the "extra board" for McLane and require to do over-night runs. Thanks in advance!

Youll be on the extra board for us foods as well

One of my friends worked for McLane's in our area. They run teams, out one day, return the next. I don't think US Foods runs teams (?)

McLane grocery runs teams Mclane food service runs solo.
JReding Thanks this. -

U.S. Foods is a good place to work; at least up in the New England area anyways. I worked there for a bit and I rather liked it, although both the hours and the actual work were difficult. Also, non union up here; Mclane as well.
At least the pay was decent; making from between $1300.00 to $1700.00 a week for 60-70 hours. -
Mclane will treat you better
