Ahh, Gemini. The fuel delivery division of Love's itself. I hear good things about them.

 

Did food service for about twelve years when I was young, definitely a young mans game. Worked routes that covered 400-500 miles with 18-24 stops and 40,000 lbs of food on. All done in one day running my ### off. US foods in Plymouth MN was a pretty good outfit back in the day, but haven't paid attention to the food game, since I left Reinhart like 10 years ago. Reinhart was a #### company, pay was good but never had the same route twice and ran like a dog, always worked my full 70 and ended up with resets in the middle of the week and no weekends off. I don't miss those days one bit, and feel alot better physically then I did 15 years ago.

 

My son is 41 yrs old, he has worked at US Foods for about 13-14 years. He is burnt out. Constantly restocking mixed up pallets for delivery’s etc. , he works the system since he’s Union, loves the money and overtime, and benefits, but he’s considering other options at this point.
