US Freightways

ya i was thinking of leasing on there too if money is what they say was going to purchase my own trailer at 500 a month i could prob come out ahead with my own trailer plus could maintain it to my specs instead of a lease company

 

TDReed, thank you for letting other truckers know about how crooked US Freightways really is, we just went thru the same thing and did not know anything until we received final settlement & they deducted unauthorized charges totaling around $1,700 for bogus tire wear & tear, trailer damage and he was only w/them for 6 months. What recourse did you take?

 

i found out the drivers who are doing well are driving for some of the dispatchers who has trucks leased there

 

well i just got a copy of my dac. thanks for the lies u.s. freightways. 1. they put on it that thet terminated the lease thats wrong i did. 2.they have equipment loss. claiming they had to recover the trailer. another lie it was relayed to another driver. i even noted it on tmy log with the drivers info. 3. late pickup. true i was late on a pickup but was dispatched 45 minute before pickup time and was 183 miles away. they have a bad habit of dispatching the drivers like that. 4.log violation went back through all of my logs cant find it. 5.no show what ever that means. 6. company policy violation. 7.unsatisfactory safety record i never got any violation on that i even passed the inspection by dot. now their safety record is questionable. 8. unauthorized use of company funds? i guess i will be another driver joing in on the lawsuit against them now. i guess if you leave and let drivers know the truth about them they will do this to the drivers this only happened recently before everything was good until they found out about the board here they are coming on here and checking to see whats on here about them.

 

they arre bad for doing that. thats why they are getting sued by a few drivers that left them

 

yeah dont do it. if they are doing well then they either just started or they or connected to the company you start out doing good for the first month then after that you are toast cheap cheap freight

 

If these are the same people I'm thinking of, they had an ad on Craig's List for O/O and drivers and I guess they recruit for other companies too. Said they were in Elk Grove I believe??? Sounded screwy that a O/O company would be recruiting for the likes of Interstate and others... Glad I decided against that!!!

 

you better check your dac too they put a lot of bull on mine.

 

I got a call from them too.they have changed their pay scale.Its now 80% and they have you pay for tag,permits,and occupational insurance at 112.00 a week.no trailer rental.How are you doind roaddawg?

 

I worked for them a year ago, they still owe me around $ 3000 dollars of unpaid loads. Listen to what other drivers are saying they lie about what the load really pays and so much other stuff I could go on and on. Stay away would be my personal advice.
