The only thing constant about mail hauling is that it is always changing. I live it. Post office cuts a run, adds a run, a company looses a contract. Always changing.
Bfr38 and Getsinyourblood Thank this. -
O well that doesn't sound to healthy to stay on with that.
-
You’re right
-
That’s what def gets old! They just had a big change and my run has been bouncing back and forth from leaving out at 3:15 a.m and 5:45 a.m. it def gets old!! Every time the expeditors and mail handlers get in a routine and used to a schedule they switch it!

Eagle, Hoovestol, Pat Salmon, Beam, and all Eagle/Hoovestol acquisitions are being combined into one company, 10roads.
In other news the drivers of the Indianapolis terminal have filed papers to have a vote to become part of Teamsters local 135.
Expectations are the vote will be around mid November.Getsinyourblood and Bfr38 Thank this. -
Yup, you’re right! It’s 10 Roads now. I heard they changed names cause of DOT, but that’s just hear say.

It might have something to do with it. Also, I believe it was to unify the operations and support. Instead of 7 different companies, now just one. I heard salaried Eagle employees will have their Friday payday rotation changed to line up with the rest of the company.Bfr38 Thanks this.

As of yesterday the 10roads/Eagle employees at the Indianapolis terminal are represented by Teamsters local 135.
4mer trucker Thanks this. -
I just wonder, does 10Roads(Pat Salmon) still do a relay in Lexington, Va and Harrisonburg, Va? I once was a driver that did the relay in Lexington, but I left for personal reasons and here lately I haven't seen the driver at the truck stop in Harrisonburg. Just our of curiosity, I am of the opinion, they must have changed this operation.
