also when i was on the other side not workin on wallmart dedicated it was horrible i had so many dispatcher , always problems with your checks and they dont even know were to send you for an empty trailor lol . i went all over p.a lookin and even south of ny state before i finally was sent back to the place i started to get a load off the yard in machanicsburg p.a

Sounds like nothing has changed I bobtailed all over Iowa one day looking for a mty trailer. By the time I found one they had to give my load away because I didn't have hours to dh to the shipper In Missouri. Good thing they payed the same loaded as mty.

 

My fiance drives for USX. He has been with then since February of 2007. I've seen him do well with miles and I've seen him do lousy with miles. He runs out of Lincoln,NE, They assign him loads and they take them away. He is switiching over to the Chatnooga,tn office soon. We hope it's better than Lincoln. I hope things get better after we get married and I'm glad I work,if not we would be strapped for money to live at times. It's a lonely life for me,he only comes in once a month. I hope the puppy I'm getting helps me deal with the lonliness.

 

Did not know they ran company drivers out of Lincoln. They didn't when I worked for them. Your soon to be hubby will have a mileage chart with big peaks and valleys because the last I checked most of the good runs are for teams, O/O's or on a rail car.

I worked for them for over 6 years and my miles dropped like a rock when they went to loading on the rail. From 14k a month to just over 9K and instead of 7 or 8 loads a month I was doing 18 to 20 loads did 3 in 1 day once all coast to coast runs heading to the rail yard went local after the the terminal Mgr in SLC offered it on my way in to turn in the truck. Then as soon as the SLC terminal shut down and the ld plnr I worked for got his pink slip. My run ins with Mngmt in the past over miles and home time got me canned also pattern of confontation with mngmt they called it. Even if he gets avg miles with them it will be much harder then it used to be a few years back and he will be on their slacker list if he demands more home time then once a month.

LOL LOL usx has far from a great maintance plan.. 40k before you get an oil change? They dont believe in overheads. and thier shops DONT carry washer fluid.. HMM the part that kills me is that They say 40k on the oil cuz JB hunt does it. but JB doesnt tell you how many motors they go thru either!!!!..
I have so many Legit rants about this company that it aint even funny!!!! but this topic isnt about me....

 

Do they run Volvo engines?
