I have a question. We all know trucking companies will lie on our DAC reports. Is there anything we can do about this? US Xpress for instance put "Safety concern" on my DAC for no reason. I had no accidents or tickets in the last five years. I was praised by the safety office before Swift bought US Xpress for avoiding a couple of accidents. Then this new guy starts watching me every day, micro-managing and saying every single thing is a dangerous situation. Like normal traffic, nothing happening, no one close to me. Just utterly ridiculous.
I know that companies will fire a bunch of people when they are bought or merge, this happened when Covenant bought SRT, Star, and, LandAir. They fired like 400 people immediately, then started picking the rest of us off for policy violations which we didn't even know about. So I knew it might be coming, but why lie on my DAC? Companies are telling me they can't hire me bc of this comment. Isn't this libel? I do not use my phone when driving, or drive distracted, I pay attention. I am wondering if we truck drivers could do a class action suit against companies who regularly lie on peoples Dac? This is supposed to be information about a drivers performance but they put whatever they want on there, and they use it to be petty. I mean this certainly is libel at least right?
US Xpress committing Libel?

Have you seen your DAC report, or are you going off of what a recruiter told you? Not knowing company policy is no excuse. When you get hired by an employer, ask for a copy of the employee handbook and read it.

On the policy violations, you have to understand drivers from SRT were just given a new door sign. We had no orientation, no new handbooks given, nothing like that. I myself was fired for running a yellow light. It was raining and I didn't want to slide. They can see this on camera, but policy violation, so fired. -

If memory serves me correctly there is a procedure to go thru to dipute
anything adverse on your DAC/Hireright report. If the company doesn't respond in a set amount of time the adverse report is removed from your record. If someone that has been thru this could respord that would be better better than hearsay from me or anyone else.Lonesome, JS8888 and broke down plumber Thank this. -
Suddenly Covenant's name was on the side of the trailers as a DIVISION, SRT had tax problems and got in bed with the devil Covenant, preaching the gospel. I left before the takeover and the NEW office building/shop was constructed on I-30 by Texarkana.
As far as your DAC/HireRight report you can dispute any erroneous information here

Contact DAC-hireright or whatever it is. And dispute it. It takes up to 6 weeks to come to term but likely it will be taken off unless there is towing, law eforcement or videos of swearving for squirrel ( he deserved it lil basser)
