Wife and I have been with US Xpress for almost two years. Good place. Abilene I hear is good also. You going to be a solo driver or team ?
-
considering either or .... looking for quality training and the most money to be made and i have a student loan for cdl school to pay off
-
Here's a thread on Abilene. Drivers that post seem to be happy there.

Lots of posts on both companies. It seems US Express is good for teams and mediocre for solo drivers. Abilene is good for teams or solo drivers. Based on the posts on those issues, I would choose Abilene.

Abilene has lots of Florida freight and drivers
not all companies can say that -
Should i even care about tuition reimbursement when looking for my first company ? i mean if the miles and money is there it wouldnt really matter..... Right?
Shaggy Thanks this. -
Holy crap, You sir is heading in the correct direction. Forget about that Tuition recruiter junk, Selling your soul for a few thousand dollars.

Thanks shaggs,
but the student loan is 6000 financed over 5 yrs and a pretty high interest rate ..thats what got me kinda tweakin out...but i am looking for the long haul and i quess in a year or so could pay it off regardless of a tuition reimbursement... -
A buddy of mine paid $10,000 for CDL school and got on with a good company and had it paid off in a year.
Shaggy Thanks this.
