Exactly why working for a union shop is good... thy can not tell me I can't have the time off. So long as no other driver is off.. and if thy are you just call put sick.... so long as you have time there nothing thy can do... then after that there is a point systems on call out I think it's like 18 points before they can give you a written warning. 3 points per offense points last 60 days

To ALL who gave HELPFUL advice thanks. All you others with your opinions....SHOVE IT! US Xpress is a BULLS**** company that KEEPS a hiring add in the Sunday paper. The reason being they have a HIGH TURN OVER. They are unable to keep their drivers. Hustling new drivers with ##'D up policies and a lot of nonsense. Once a driver deals with US Xpress they
SEE & KNOW what a bad company is. I HIGHLY recommend a new/rookie driver don't waste their time with US Xpress UNLESS they don't mind BEING PIMPED. I'm about to try trucking again & have done my research this time around.

@TruckDuo, Read my FIRST & SECOND posts about US Xpress. I found my whole experience with them asinine & a pain in the ##*! They would have to be the last job on EARTH before I'd ever consider going back. They really NEED to improve their policies when it comes to new drivers. Otherwise they will just keep adds in the paper begging for new drivers to chew up & spit out.

Ej2968 I agree with you that usx isn't on par with their policies, but like truckduo mentioned did they put something on your dac that is preventing you from working at Another company?

    TruckDuo Thanks this.

US Xpress probably put a mark on his DAC, now he can't get a job and he's holding a grudge.

Oops didn't read the above post.
